Parent Participation Program
The PPP program requires that parents accumulate ten
credits (five for single-parent households) during the period from May 1st
through April 30th. Credits are awarded for volunteer service to the school
either through participation in the activities listed in the PPP handbook, or
through special activities with the prior approval of the school administration
and the PPP coordinator. Families who do not accumulate the required credit will
be assessed a Parent Volunteer Program fee of $400 (single parent households
will be assessed a fee of $200). No partial credit is given.
An important part of the program is record keeping. A sign-in book is maintained
in the school office. Please be certain to record your arrival and departure
time in the books. Parents are responsible for signing this book. Any volunteer
time not recorded in the book cannot be credited.
