You must be fingerprinted before you can perform any volunteer work that comes in contact with children (including field trips). Appointments must be made through the Archdiocese of Washington and fingerprinting forms can be picked up at the ANS school office. Once the fingerprinting has been completed, a copy of your receipt should be sent to the school for our records. When you receive your background check, a copy also needs to be provided to the school.
In addition, you must attend the "Protecting God's Children" Workshop. You can register for the workshop through the Archdiocese of Washington website (www.adw.org).
