HUNGER FOR HOPE FOOD DRIVE

An information sheet was sent home on Monday asking assistance with an Archdiocesan Food Drive. Catholic Charities is conducting this drive and asking all schools and parishes in the Archdiocese to participate. The purpose of the food drive is to fill the pantries of the Capital Area Food Bank, the Southern Maryland Food Bank, and the 70 food pantries at the parishes in the Archdiocese of Washington. This gift to the people of our area is in honor of Pope Benedict XVI’s visit and to fulfill Christ’s directive to feed the hungry. The Holy Father will be presented a list of the participating parishes and schools who collected food in his honor. Please be generous as possible.

HELP FOR A FAMILY
